To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor excellent in sensitivity characteristics by using a charge transport agent excellent in solubility with an organic solvent or compatibility with a binder resin to be used for formation of a photosensitive layer.

The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer containing at least a charge generating agent and a charge transport agent, wherein the charge transport agent comprises a compound expressed by formula (1). In formula (1), A represents a 1-12C alkylene group which may have a substituent; R1 to R8 are identical or different groups and represent hydrogen atoms, halogens, 1-6C alkyl groups, 1-6C alkoxy groups, 6-20C aryl groups or aralkyl groups having a 1-6C alkyl moiety and a 6-20C aryl moiety; m and n are integers of 1to 4 and are identical or different integers.
