Abstract:
To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that has high wear resistance and cleanability, and can obtain a high-quality image with substantially no occurrence of fogging even when used for a high-speed machine.SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic photoreceptor of the present invention having at least a photosensitive layer and a protective layer sequentially stacked on a conductive support, the protective layer contains a cured product of a composition containing a radical polymerizable compound and metal oxide particles, and the metal oxide particles have a number average aspect ratio of 5 or more and 100 or less and a number average major axis of 50 nm or more and 1 μm or less, and are needle-like metal oxide particles that are surface-treated with a branched type silicone coupling agent having a silicone chain in the side chain.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
