Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3618971
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high mechanical strength and satisfactory resistance to electricity by direct electrification while maintaining solvent cracking resistance by incorporating a specified polymer into the surface layer of an electrophotographic photoreceptor.
SOLUTION: This electrophotographic photoreceptor has an electrically conductive substrate, a photosensitive layer and a surface layer contg. a polymer having constituent units represented by the formula, wherein R1-R12 are each H, halogen optionally substd. alkyl, aryl or alkylene and Ar1 and Ar2 are each optionally substd. alkylene. The photoreceptor has especially superior solvent cracking resistance, mechanical strength and resistance to electricity by direct electrification and can ensure satisfactory electrophotographic characteristics.
