Abstract:
To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that is excellent in wear resistance and can prevent the occurrence of fogging in a formed image.SOLUTION: A photosensitive layer 3 of an electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 includes a charge generating layer 3a and a charge transport layer 3b. The charge generating layer contains a charge generating agent. The charge transport layer contains at least a hole transport agent and a binder resin. The binder resin contains a polyarylate resin. The polyarylate resin includes a repeating unit (1), a repeating unit (2), and a repeating unit (3). The ratio of the number n1 of the repeating units (1) to the number n2 of the repeating units (2), n1/n2 is 1.0 or more. The hole transport agent contains a compound represented by a specific general formula or a specific chemical formula. The content of the hole transport agent is 30 parts by mass or more and 45 parts by mass or less based on 100 parts by mass of the binder resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
