Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor high in sensitivity and potential acceptance and further, small in fluctuation of potential characteristics even in repeated uses, and superior in performance.
CONSTITUTION: This photoreceptor contains a combination of carrier generating materials represented by formulae I and/or II with a carrier transfer layer additive agent of a copolymer having repeating units each represented by formulae III and IV. In formulae I-IV, W is H or a halogen; each of R1 and R2 is H or an alkyl; X and Y are H, OH, COOH, COOZ, or CN; Z is carboxyalkyl; and both of X and Y are not H at the same time.
