To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that can suppress blur of dots forming an output image.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor has a cylindrical support and a photosensitive layer, and a surface of the support is formed of Al and/or an Al alloy. The surface of the support consists of crystal grains of Al having (α) a surface in which {001} orientation is -15° or more and less than +15°, (β) a surface in which {101} orientation is -15° or more and less than +15°, and (γ) a surface in which {111} orientation is -15° or more and less than +15°. A ratio of an area occupied by crystal grains of Al having the (γ) with respect to a total area of the surface of the support is 10% or less, and a ratio of an area occupied by the crystal grains of Al being either one of the crystal grains of Al having the (α) or the crystal grains of Al having the (β) is 60% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
