Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that contains a binder resin having a specific structure in a photosensitive layer to have a good compatibility with a charge transport material and other resins, maintain satisfactory adhesion to the photosensitive layer, and exhibit satisfactory electric characteristics; and to provide a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus using the electrophotographic photoreceptor.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor contains, as a binder resin, a polyester resin obtained through polycondensation of a dicarboxylic acid component having an alicyclic hydrocarbon residue represented by the formula (1) and a diol component represented by the formula (2) to solve the above problem.SELECTED DRAWING: None
