Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC RECEPTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5565961
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a photoreceptor superior in electric characteristics, resolution, and in adhesivity between a photosensitive layer and a protective film by using a material of specified resistivity for an adhesive layer, and forming a protective film having resistivity higher than this, and no compatibility with the adhesive layer.

CONSTITUTION: Photosensitive layer 2, such as selenium is formed on conductive substrate 1, such as aluminum, a solution of a material of resistivity 105W1013Ω. cm, such as polyamide is coated on layer 2 by dipping and dried to form adhesive layer 4. A solution containing a material higher than the material of layer 4 in resistivity, such as polyacrylate is coated and dried on layer 4 to form protective film 3. The solvent to be used for the solution for forming layer 3 does not dissolve the material for forming layer 4, thus permitting a high durability photoreceptor capable of forming an image by exposure after uniform charging and having superior resolution and electric characteristics similar to the case free from a protective film and an adhesive layer to be obtained.
