Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SELENIUM PHOTORECEPTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11352712
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an electrophotographic selenium photoreceptor which has a sufficient response to light even when the exposure amt. of a light source shining on the photoreceptor surface is small, which can spread the width of selection of the exposure light source to be used on a mounted machine side and which can maintain the more constant sensitivity without depending on the fluctuation of wavelengths of the exposure light source.

In this electrophotographic selenium photoreceptor consisting of a photosensitive film formed by vacuum-vapor-deposition of a selenium-arsenic alloy on a conductive substrate, the photoreceptor is constituted so that two kinds of selenium-arsenic alloys having different arsenic concns. in the alloys are vacuum-vapor-deposited, the selenium-arsenic alloy having a high arsenic concn. forms a charge producing layer and the selenium-arsenic alloy having a low arsenic concn. forms a charge transfer layer.
