PURPOSE: To avoid the harmful effect of severe fatigue of a sensitive body due to positive charges caused in case of the absence of a body to be printed at the time of transfer independently of changes in temp. and humidity in repeated printing processes by mounting the sensitive body in a printer adopting a reversal development system with a negatively charged toner.
CONSTITUTION: An insulating underlayer whose volume resistivity lowers at increased humidity, an electric charge generating layer and a positive hole transfer type electric charge transferring layer contg. a triphenylmethane compd. represented by the formula are successively laminated on an electric conductive substrate to obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body for reversal development. In the formula, each of R1, R2, R4, R7 and R8 is H, alkyl which may have a substituent, aralkyl or aryl and each of R3, R5 and R6 is H, halogen, alkyl which may have a substituent, aralkyl, aryl, alkoxy or amino.
