Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a photosensitive body which is superior in stability against temperature and humidity, high in electrifying characteristics and hardly causes degradation in photosensitivity, when used repeatedly.

CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive layer formed on an electrically conductive substrate incorporates an enamine group containing hydrazone compound shown in the formula. In the formula, R1 is an aryl group, aralkyl group, heterocyclic group, alkyl group or hydrogen atom, R2 is an aryl group, aralkyl group, heterocyclic group or alkyl group, R3 is an aryl group, aralkyl group, heterocyclic group, alkyl group or hydrogen atom, (a) is an alkyl group, alkoxyl group, halogen atom or hydrogen atom, (n) is an integer of 1-3, (b) is an alkyl group, alkoxyl group, halogen or hydrogen atom, (m) is an integer of 1-4 and Z is an atomic group having a bivalent group required for forming a heterocycle or a condensed heterocycle, together with a nitrogen atom of a tert. amino group.
