Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05249714
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce an electrophotographic sensitive body in which a layer contg. a charge generating substance as the effective component is formed on a conductive substrate by vapor deposition without need for a photosensitive body having a uniform photosensitive layer by coating or a large-scale deposition device by using the charge generating substance partly or wholly soluble in org. solvent.

CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive layer contg. a trisazo dyestuff as the effective component of the charge generating substance is formed in the electrophotographic sensitive body. In this case, acylacetoarylamides, phenols, pyridones, quionolines, pyrazoles, indoles, diphenylamines, anilines, aminopyridines, pyrimidines, pyrimidones, naphthols, naphthylamines, hydroxyanthracenes, aminothiazoles, thiophenes and hydroxypyridines are effectively used as the residue Cp of a coupling component.
