Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the electrophotographic sensitive body having good dark decay-restraining performance without regard to the kinds of phthalocyanine type photoconductors.

CONSTITUTION: A photoconductive layer formed on a conductive substrate contains the phthalocyanine type photoconductive particles and highly insulating particles in a prescribed proportion, and a binder resin and a hydrazone compound represented by formula in which R1 is an optionally substituted phenyl group or such a heterocyclic group; R2 is H, alkyl, or substituted aryl; each of R3 and R4 is, independently, alkyl, aryl, or aralkyl; and n is 0 or 1.
