Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63273865
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance sensitivity without deteriorating electric chargeability characteristics due to preexposure fatigue and chargeability characteristics even after repeated cycles of exposure and charging by incorporating an aliphatic alcohol in a charge transfer layer.

CONSTITUTION: The electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by laminating on a conductive base body 11 a charge generating layer 13 and the charge transfer layer 14 obtained by dissolving or dispersing a charge transfer material, a binder resin, and the aliphatic alcohol in a proper solvent, applying, and drying it, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be enhanced in sensitivity without deterioration in chargeability due to preexposure fatigue and delay in rising of chargeable potential even after repeated cycles of exposure and charging.
