Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a nozzle head part of an electrostatic attraction type multi-nozzle ink jet head in low cost even though the part is made by a metal plating process in terms of the mold plate layer which have to be needed for each nozzle head processing and a mold hole for the nozzle tip section which have to be formed on each of the mold plate layer by a cutting process so that manufacturing cost have been increased.
SOLUTION: A base 3 having a plurality of plating solution passing holes 3a provided thereon is coated to be formed on a matrix 1 made of stainless or the like having plurality of projection sections 1a each becoming a nozzle tip section. Metal plating masks 3, 4 are formed on faces which are not to be subjected to metal plating. The matrix 1 is dipped into a metal plating solution, then a nozzle head 5 is formed from the matrix 1 by the metal plating process. A metal-plated part of the external side face of each of the projection sections 1a forms the nozzle tip section 5a.
