Abstract:
To provide an electrostatic capacitance sensor and electrostatic sensor head that achieve resistance characteristics with respect to extraneous electromagnetic noise or an impact of measurement environment by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An electrostatic capacitance sensor comprises: a sensor head 1 that includes a sheet-like base material with flexibility, a measurement electrode 10 provided on one surface of the base material, and a guard electrode 20 provided in symmetry to the measurement electrode 10 and the base material on the other surface of the base material, and having an outer edge larger than that of pattern to be formed by the measurement electrode 10; and an electrostatic capacitance measurement unit 2 that supplies an input voltage signal of a prescribed cycle to the measurement electrode 10, rectifies an output electricity signal to be output from the measurement electrode 10 in response to the input voltage signal, converts the output electricity signal to a voltage signal and outputs the voltage signal as an output voltage signal, and supplies the same voltage signal as the input voltage signal to the guard electrode 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
