PURPOSE: To prevent contamination of a painting surface by discharged air and to cool effectively an electrode by constituting a titled device in such a way that the discharged air passes through a turbine vane wheel and a disposing area of the electrode and escapes to the rear of a housing.
CONSTITUTION: A turbine vane wheel 42 is given with rotating force by the compressed air ejected from an ejecting nozzle 57, by which a revolving shaft is rotated at a high speed. The compressed air past the wheel 42 is discharged into the 1st discharge chamber A to cool the electrode 66 and electrode holder 63 exposed in the chamer A. The compressed air flows through an air discharge hole 59 into the 2nd air discharge chamber B to cool the electrode holder 63 and adjust screw 67 exposed in the chamber B. The compressed air is thereafter discharged through an air discharge passage 6 to the outside from the rear end of a rear housing 3 and therefore the flow of the discharge air toward the painting surface is obviated.
