PURPOSE: To separate compost and an admixture from each other with high efficiency, by providing the titled sorter with a means for exciting a sorter table along an upward direction to apply mechanical accelerating force to matter to be sorted.
CONSTITUTION: A motor to be vibrated along an oblique direction K is attached to a side plate 17 vertically fixed to the side surface of a vibrating feeder 3, to vibrate the vibrating feeder 3 and a sorter table 4 by the vibration of the motor 18. Hence, matter to be sorted on the sorter table 4 is affected by obliquely directing-down force, to apply initial velocity to the flotation of compost and to transfer an admixture from the inlet side to the outlet side of the sorter table 4. Consequently, the flotation of light-weight matter is facilitated, and a sorting speed and the capacity of treatment are enhanced.
