PURPOSE: To perform a quiet printing of a character or the like of desired dimensions with an excellent printing accuracy by a method wherein an alphabet displayed by a liquid crystal is reduced in the lens system and irradiated on an electrostatic transfer equipment to form an ink image, which is printed electrostatically on a paper with a retransfer equipment.
CONSTITUTION: An alphabet displayed by a liquid crystal 12 is irradiated with a light source 11 and forms an image on a photosensitive body 23 on the circumference of a photosensitive drum 22 with a zoomable lens system 13 and a reflector 14 to produce a latent image. It is developed by spraying a toner at a developing section. Then, an ink image thereof is transfered onto a tansfer part 31 and then, retransferred onto a recording paper 35.
