PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of earth return even in multi-stylus head printers or the like, omission of dots, other stylus coloring, etc., by regulating each smoothness of a metal vapor deposition layer and a surface layer formed on a substrate.
CONSTITUTION: A finely divided pigment is dispersed in a resin solution and coated on a substrate 1 like art paper, and dried to form a layer 2 with the surface roughened. On layer 2 an aluminum like metal vapor deposition layer 3 is formed. Surface roughening of layer 2 is regulated so as to give a smoothness of layer 3 of 10W 100 sec by JIS P-8119-1963. Then, on layer 3 surface layer 4 is formed consisting of colorant, whitening pigment, and binder, and its smoothness is controlled to 10W100 sec by adjusting the particle diameter and the addition amount of the colorant and the pigment or the smoothness of layer 3.
