1514047 Halving citrus fruits ACKERET DESIGN STUDIOS 2 Sept 1976 [6 Aug 1976] 36409/76 Heading A4C A device for halving citrus fruit comprises a one-piece injection-moulded plastics holder and blade 20, the holder being in the form of a box with base 10, side walls 12, 14 and end walls 16, 18, the side walls having cut-outs 24 with a guide portion 26 and rest portion 28. The blade may be quarter circular or rectangular with a serrated edge. In a modification a tensioned string is used in place of the blade. The holder has a handle 32, juice pourer 30 and an anti-slip base coating. In a modification the end or side walls may converge upwardly.
