PURPOSE: To obtain filter element having simple structure and sufficient strength and capable of precise filtration by supporting a membrane on the whole surface of a tubular woven or meshed fabric the one end of which is buried into plastic base and the other end is closed.

CONSTITUTION: The one end of the tubular meshed or woven fabric 2 is sealed with the plastic 1 and also the other end is integrally embedded in the plastic base 3, and the membrane 6 is supported on the whole surface of the mesh 2. The filter element is attached to the casing 8 with the inlet 7 for a fluid to be treated and the connecting cap 9 with the exhaust port 10.
