Abstract:
To enable a number of elements to be quenched at low costs while suppressing occurrence of strain of the elements without using a jig.SOLUTION: An element manufacturing apparatus comprises: a die for half-blanking that protrudes in a thickness direction from a surrounding material through an outer edge corresponding to an outer shape of an element and performs half-blanking work to the element so that the element is linked to the surrounding material through an end part in the thickness direction of the outer edge, to form a half-blanked part; a die for punching out that punches out the half-blanked part from the surrounding material; and a quenching device, arranged between the die for half-blanking and the die for punching-out in a feeding direction of the raw material, which performs heating and cooling of the half-blanked part in turn to perform quenching.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 26
