The elevator car device includes a cage having a door for entry to and exit from a car room, a door girder 5 supporting the door to be openable and closable, and a door open/close mechanism for imparting a driving force in the open/close direction to the door. The door girder 5 includes a vertical section 201 extended in the hoisting direction and horizontal sections 203 and 205 extended forward or backward from the vertical section. The door girder 5 is divided into a body area 101 within a car width range and a point area 103 extended to project beyond a side surface in the car width direction. The horizontal section includes a cut in the point area or terminates within the body areas.
