PURPOSE: To provide an elevator car device which is free from uncomfortable sense due to undulate vibration by suppressing such a phenomenon that vibration of a winch is transmitted undulately.

CONSTITUTION: Wires having resilience are implanted densely to form a vibration absorbing element 11 in a brush form, which is installed between a coupling member 9 tied with a main cable and a passenger get-on member 1 of an elevator car. This absorbing element 11 absorbs the impact energy transmitted in the form of longitudinal undulation in the main cable 7 with the impact produced when cogs of gears constituting a deceleration mechanism collide with one another. Thus the vibration resulting from the impact is absorbed effectively, which liberates passengers in the car from uncomfortable sense of vibrations to lead to enhancement of the comfort in the car.
