Abstract:
To provide an elevator device capable of reducing dimensions in the vertical direction and the area of a shaft.
A first motor 7a and a second motor 8a whose diameters are smaller than the length in the axial direction are used. A first driving device 7 and a second driving device 8 are arranged in such a way that axes of the first and second motors 7a, 8a and rotary axes of a first driving sheave 7b and a second driving sheave 8b are horizontally extended. A first deflector wheel 20 and a second deflector wheel 21 are arranged among a car 4 and hoistway walls 1a, 1b so that their rotary axes are horizontally extended.
