PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device that can shorten a rescue time of a passenger and has a simple structure.SOLUTION: The elevator device that can rescue a passenger (4) from a rescue port (3) provided in a ceiling of a car (1) includes: a pivoted door (6) provided in a lateral plate of the car and rotating about a vertical direction; and a ladder (5) provided at one of the faces of the pivoted door to lead the passenger to the rescue port in emergency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
