Abstract:
To provide advantageous technology for making announcements to users at each of a plurality of landings without having to provide speaker devices at each of them.SOLUTION: An elevator device comprises a car door provided in an elevator car, a landing door provided in a position opposite to the car door when the car is stopped at the landing of the destination floor, a door opening/closing device that opens and closes the car door and the landing door in conjunction with each other, a speaker device that is installed on the car door and outputs audio from the car door toward the landing door while at the landing floor, a pushing mechanism that moves the speaker device toward the landing door while at the landing floor, and a control device that controls the door opening/closing device, the speaker device, and the pushing mechanism. When the car stops at the landing, the control device drives the pushing mechanism to bring the speaker device into contact with the landing door, and causes the speaker device to sound a door opening announcement before the door opening/closing device performs the door opening operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
