This elevator driving device includes a hydraulic cylinder 4 moving up and down an elevator table, a flow control valve 30 controlling the flow of hydraulic oil for the cylinder 4, driven pressure chambers 34 and 35 to which drive pressures to change the opening of the control valve 30 are introduced, a solenoid valve 25 switching the drive pressures introduced to the chambers 34 and 35, and a delay restrictor 27 applying resistance to the flow of the hydraulic oil to the chambers 34 and 35. The restrictor 27 applies resistance to the flow of hydraulic liquid for the chambers 34 and 35 by switching the valve 30, and the acceleration and deceleration of the elevator table is performed smoothly by changing the opening of the valve 30 gradually.
