PURPOSE: To provide an elevator in-car abnormality generation detecting device for positively detecting the generation of abnormality in the car of an elevator and communicating this without operating an emergency button or the like by leading out abnormality to send out an alarm when the generation of excla mation voice is detected by at least one of plural voice recognizing circuits.
CONSTITUTION: When abnormality is generated in a car 2, a sort of exclamation voice that is several single sounds, are often generated. Accordingly, a voice detecting means 20 is provided with voice recognizing circuits 41, 42, 43, 44,... individually in order to recognize each exclamation voice. When the exclamation voice is detected in each of the voice recognizing circuits 41, 42, 43, 44,... each output is supplied to an AND-gate 19 and an OR-gate 21 through an OR-gate 45. The output from an OR-gate 22 is led in by the output from the OR-gate 21 so as to send an alarm to a building manager's room. The generation of abnormal sound can be thereby detected positively without operating an emergency button or the like.
