Abstract:
In this interlock device for an elevator, a latch receiving member is provided with a sloped section. A slide member can slide along the sloped section, between a normal position at which the hook section of a latch is permitted to engage the upper end of the sloped section and a prevention position at which the slide member protrudes further in the direction in which the sloped section extends than the upper end of the sloped section, thereby preventing the hook section from engaging with the upper end of the sloped section. Also, when a landing floor door becomes closed while the hook section is located at a lower position than the upper end of the sloped section, the slide member is pushed by the hook section and slides to the prevention position while the hook section is placed on the slide member.
