To a square hole 1a formed on the surface plate 1A of the control panel of an elevator car, an installing frame 2 is fixed through a welded stud 1c. On the rear surface of the installing frame 2, a push-button 3 and a diffusion plate 5a are provided in order, and button frames 5 are provided on the rear side of the push-button and the diffusion plate. Leaf springs 9 are installed to a button board 11 provided at the rear part of the control panel so as to support the rear end of the button frames 5, light holes 5b and 5c are formed to the button frames 5, and an optical diode 7 is provided to the place responding to one side light hole 5b, while a light receiving element 8 is provided to the place responding to the other side light hole 5c.
