Abstract:
This sound system for an elevator comprises: two or more speaker cabinets that are disposed on the interior of a suspended ceiling affixed to a ceiling panel of an elevator car; an input device into which audio content to be emitted from the speaker cabinets to the car interior is input; and an acoustic field control device that controls the audio content and causes a sound wave based on the audio content to be emitted from the speaker cabinets to the car interior. Each speaker cabinet has: a housing that is disposed on the interior of the suspended ceiling; and a speaker unit that is disposed on the interior of the housing and has an emission surface for emitting sound waves. The car has one side panel on each of the right, left, front, and back sides of the car. The emission surface of a speaker unit provided in at least one of the speaker cabinets is disposed so as to face one of the side panels of the car.
