PURPOSE: To provide an elevator unit for an automatic vending machine which can be easily installed at an outside door, etc., and simultaneously, is advantageous for the correction of a position or maintenance.

CONSTITUTION: A box type case 12 provided with a guide groove 12c and a chain housing groove 12d, sprocket shafts 13 pivoted horizontally at the upper and the lower ends in the box type case 12, two chains 14 wound around sprockets facing each other vertically, and a guide roller fitted freely slidably in the guide groove 12c are provided. Besides, since the elevator unit 11 constituted of a container-form bucket 15 at the front side of both sides of which a part of chains 14 are connected, and a motor 16 connected to the sprocket shaft 13 of one side, an elevator mechanism can be installed by only fitting the box type case 12 to a desired position such as the outside door, etc., and besides, the correction of the fitting position or the maintenance can be easily executed.
