Abstract:
To correctly detect a user existing in the vicinity of a door even if an illumination condition is changed.SOLUTION: A user detection system of an elevator includes: imaging means; detection area setting means; boundary detection means; movement detection means; and determination means. The imaging means photographs the inside of a prescribed range including a door from a car toward a landing. The detection area setting means sets a detection area in a sill provided in a movement path of the door on a photographed image. The boundary detection means detects a boundary between the sill and an elevator structure on an image in the detection area. The movement detection means detects a luminance change of an image accompanying the movement of a user or an object on the sill within the detection area. The determination means determines whether a user or an object exists in the vicinity of the door on the basis of the detection result of the boundary detection means and the detection result of the movement detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
