Abstract:
To correctly detect elevator users by suppressing non-detection attributed to the brightness of a floor face, and reflect a detection result on door opening/closing control.SOLUTION: An elevator user detection system includes brightness measuring means, sensitivity setting means, detection means, and door opening/closing control means. The brightness measuring means measures the brightness of a floor face of at least one of a car stop and a car by using an image obtained from a camera. The sensitivity setting means sets detection sensitivity when detecting a user on the image according to the brightness of the floor face measured by the brightness measuring means. The detection sensitivity is set according to the brightness of the floor face measured by the brightness measuring means. The detection means detects a user present on the floor face from the image on the basis of the detection sensitivity set by the sensitivity setting means. The door opening/closing control means controls a door opening/closing operation of a door of the car on the basis of a result of the detection by the detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
