To efficiently feed an elevator car by using a feeder line, and prevent contact of the feeder line.
A current at a predetermined frequency is supplied from a power source device 8 to the feeder line 9. A pickup device 11 is arranged so as to face to the feeder line 9. When the car 1 stops, a distance between the pickup device 11 and the feeder line 9 is short. When the car starts travelling, a servomotor rotates a ball screw. Then, the pickup device 11 moves in a direction apart from the feeder line 9. When the car 1 approaches a destination floor, and stops travelling, the servomotor rotates the ball screw in a direction opposite to the direction in starting the travel. Then, the pickup device 11 moves in a direction closer to the feeder line 9.
