Abstract:
In an elevator according to the present invention, all cars L1-L4 wait on an evacuation floor with doors thereof closed by a disaster control operation in the event of a disaster. Subsequently, only the car L3 performs an evacuation operation using only a door 12 with a door 11 kept closed. At this time, on the evacuation floor, when a hall button 6 or a hall button 7 is operated, the cars L1, L2, L4 perform a door-opening operation. Meanwhile, the car L3 does not perform the door-opening operation for the door 11, and therefore an announcement device in the car L1 or L4 provides a notification to the outside by outputting an audio message indicating that opening of the door 11 of the car L3 is suspended.
