CONSTITUTION: In the top part of a portable telephone set housing 30, an antenna fitting part 31 consisting of a hollow bulged part is protruding and provided locally, and a first antenna 10 whose electric length is λ/4 is contained therein in a state that a base end part Q is connected to a feeding cable 15, and a second antenna 20 whose electric length is 3λ/4 is provided in parallel at a prescribed distance to this antenna 10, and also, so that it can be contained in the housing 30 so as to be freely insertable and detachable through the fitting part 31, and moreover, a base end part 23 is connected to a ground part 32 of the housing 30, when it is drawn out to the outside from the housing 30 is provided, and a J type antenna is constituted of a first and a second antennas 10, 20. In this regard, it is desirable that a first and a second antennas 10, 20 are provided with an element shortening means.
