Title:
ELIMINATOR OF MATERIAL ADHERED TO BELT CONVEYOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5748517
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate adhered material on the belt in such a way that material adhered to a belt conveyor is rubbed off using that which is provided with rubbing blades equipped on an elastic rotary drum.

CONSTITUTION: Rubbing blades 13 are provided on a rotary drum 12 which has been formed by a paper elastic material, such as synthetic rubber or the like. When a belt conveyor 4 is rubbed using this eliminator, its resisting force is transferred through a rubbing blades 13 to the rotary drum 12. Since the rotary drum 12 is formed using elastic material, the rubbing blades 13 are pressed on the belt conveyor 4 by means of elasticity of the rotary drum 12 so as to display its rubbing force. In addition, since the rotaty drum 12 is transformed by which its surface repeats expansion and contraction, at the same time, apparent fitting angles to the rotary drum 12 of the rubbing blades 13 are also displaced, the adhered material which may be collected on the fitting parts P of the rubbing blades 13 can be forced out by this transformation.
