Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the durability in both end parts by forming a rubber layer having the wear resistance at both ends of a bobbin-shaped skin piece higher than the wear resistance in the other end parts on the surface skin of the bobbin-shaped skin
CONSTITUTION: The bobbin-shaped skin piece 1 consists of the surface skin (a) and a base (b). The surface skin (a) is formed by arraying two kinds of unvulcanized rubber sheets 11a, 11b on the surface of a woven fabric 10 of a specific size. The rubber sheet 11a is packed with a white carbon and 11b with a carbon black as a reinforcing material. On the other hand, the base(b) is formed by laminating a non-woven fabric, nylon tuffeta, etc., via adhesives interposed therebetween and pressurizing the laminate. The sheet for the surface skin (a) with the woven fabric 10 side positioned on the lower side is laminated on the base (b) via the adhesive interposed therebetween and is then pressurized, by which the sheet for the surface skin 1 is obtd. The bobbin-shaped skin piece 1 is formed by cutting to a bobbin shape from this sheet, by which the elliptic ball A is produced. The elliptic ball is packed with the carbon black at its ends, by which the wear resistance is improved.
