PURPOSE: To permit installation of a multiple number of ball type parts feeder within a limited space by reducing the installation space per feeder by means of constituting a ball type parts feeder with steps or cylindrical balls in an approximate elliptical shape in plain view.
CONSTITUTION: A ball type parts feeder, which has a vibration device built-in, is installed on a mounting base 28 and, upon setting an elliptical ball B1 with steps on a top plate 14 by clamping and putting the parts into the ball, the vibration device is actuated. The parts and the like placed in a ball bottom 3 then start rotating wholly by delineating a flat spiral arc and form a rotating current along a recessed shaped bottom 4 which is relatively a shallow groove formed on the edge of the outside circumference of the ball bottom 3. Before long, those parts and the like that reached a parts climbing point 1 from the recessed shaped bottom 4 are gradually elevated and conveyed to a parts conveyance lane M on the outside circumference side of the ball B1 from the conveyance lane M on the inside circumference and finally presented to the parts conveyance by a rectilinear figure of the succeeding process from the parts exit 2 at the end portion.
