Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve elongating formability of an aluminum alloy sheet subjected to age hardening.
SOLUTION: In elongating forming of an aluminum alloy using a punch 32 and a die hollow part 42 suitable therefor, elongating forming formability of an aluminum alloy sheet 10 subjected to age hardening is improved by selective heat treatment of the sheet 10 in order to soften at least a part of a sheet which is below the punch surface 40 but is not drawn beyond a corner part 36 of the punch.
