Title:
EMBEDDABLE TUBULAR PROTEASE MADE OF POLYTETRAFLUOROETHYLENE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3563498
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protease embedded substance with excellent blood preserving performance by making wall structure comprise an extended polytetrafluoroethylene surface with holes, and making an embeddable member used in repair or replacement of a body other than a human body contain a solid and insoluble biologically suitable material made of natural raw material in the holes.
SOLUTION: When forming an extended polytetrafluoroethylene (e-PTFE) tubular protease impregnated with a solid and insoluble biologically suitable material 13 in the space between the nodes 14 in its walls 10, 11, the dispersion of a soluble material with biological suitability and biological dispersibility containing extracellular matrix protein with acidic pH is prepared. Then, for impregnating the space between nodes 14 with the soluble biologically suitable and biologically dispersible material, the protease is made to contact with the dispersion to precipitate the soluble biologically suitable and biologically dispersible material to insoluble states, thus the space between the nodes 14 is almost filled up with the insoluble biologically suitable and biologically dispersible material 13.
