Abstract:
To provide an embedded type sensor having a compact outline and having substantially the same sensitiveness when it is embedded in a conductive base material and when it is embedded in an insulating base material.
The eddy current type gap detecting embedded type sensor 10A comprises an air-cored sensor coil 2 activating an eddy current in an object S to be measured by being applied with high frequency voltage and placed at a certain distance with respect to the object S to be measured, and an insulating case 3 housing the sensor coil 2, and it is embedded and used in optional insulating or conductive base materials 20 and 21. The sensor coil 2 is surrounded by an annular magnetic body 4.
