To devise the improvement in efficiency of embroidering work by enabling the setting of a material to be embroidered which has a curved face, on an embroidering frame in such a state that at least a part to be embroidered is held flat, and performing the setting of the material to be embroidered and embroidering by an embroidering machine at the same time.

An embroidering frame for setting a material 50 to be embroidered which has a curved face, in such a state that the material can be embroidered. The embroidering frame comprises a supporting frame 10, a pressing frame 20 and a locking means. The supporting frame 10 can be fixed on a frame body (e.g. fabric frame 40) which is driven in X and Y directions, and has an opening of a size corresponding to the embroidering range S of the material 50 to be embroidered. The pressing frame 20 is constructed in such a state that it can press the material 50 to be embroidered and a core cloth 52 attached on the rear face side against the supporting frame 10 to hold at least the embroidering range S flat. The locking means enables the holding of the pressing frame 20 in such a state that the material 50 to be embroidered and the core cloth 52 are pressed against the supporting frame 10.
