Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the using handiness while preventing an embroidery frame and a presser foot from colliding when the embroidery frame is moved in order to perform the setting of an embroidery forming location, etc.
SOLUTION: When an 8-way moving key is operated by touching (Yes in S161), the length of a margin in the moving direction side of an embroidery pattern in a layout region, is calculated (S162), and when it is a specified length or longer, the embroidery frame is moved (Yes in S162), and when it is less than the specified length, the moving of the embroidery frame is prohibited (No in S162). In the meantime, when a moving key other than the 8-way moving key, is operated by touching (No in S161), if the presser foot is located at a descent position, the moving of the embroidery frame is prohibited, and at the same time, the prohibition is notified (Yes in S166, S167), and if the presser foot is located at an ascent position, the embroidery frame is moved (No in S166, S163).
