Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the useless consumption of the power in an auxiliary battery by inhibiting the switching of the power source of a vehicle from a main battery to the auxiliary battery, even when the power supply from the main battery drops due to the starting of an air conditioner or engine after the key switch of the vehicle is turned to an accessory position.
SOLUTION: The switching of the power source of a vehicle from a main battery 7 to an auxiliary battery is inhibited until a prescribed period of time elapses after an ACC power source which supplies electric power when the key switch 8 of the vehicle is turned to an accessory position, is turned on from a turned-off state by monitoring the ACC power source. Consequently, the consumption of the power of the auxiliary battery can be prevented even when the voltage of the main battery temporarily drops due to the starting of an engine.
