Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which allows even a weak person and a person whose physical strength is weak to quickly and safely escape.SOLUTION: An emergency escape device is installed on an entrance at a high place such as a vehicle, and safely transports an evacuee. The escape device comprises: a flexible slide sheet which has a length enough to arrive at a ground from the entrance and a width enough to transport the evacuee; a pair of cylindrical side walls which are a flat belt-state in non-expansion time; a pair of support frames for fixing both end edges of the cylindrical side walls in the non-expansion time in a longer direction and both end edges of the slide sheet in a longer direction serving as a getting-on port and an escape port; and a protection plate. The escape device is developed from a storage state to a chute shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
