Title:
EMISSIVITY MEASURING INSTRUMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03237321
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accurately derive emissivity without installing a black body furnace actually, to simplify the structure and to miniaturize this instrument by converting a temperature/output characteristic into a temperature output characteristic when a black body is measured. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of a body 4 to be measured which is adjusted to proper temperature by a temperature controller 1 is measured by a thermocoupler 7, and a converting circuit 8 converts the electromotive force of the thermocouple 7 into an output value Eb obtained when a photodetector 5 measures the black body at the same temperature with the body. The photodetector 5 measures the radiation of the body 4 to obtain an output Es. The output Es is used together with the output Eb to calculate the emissivity epsilon(Es/Eb) by a dividing circuit 6.
